A relaunch of Yoimiya’s character Banner is just around the corner, so HoYoverse is hosting a Yoimiya art contest to apparently help the Geshin Impact community have more fun with her relaunch. And what better way to engage the community than by offering Primogems and real money as prizes?
The contest has already started and will run until August 9, and HoYoverse plans to announce the results on August 31. This kind of competition is something the HoYoverse has done in the past with other characters, including Klee and Kazuha, but it’s not. It happens too often, so it might be worth getting involved.
The official contest outline states that to enter, you must upload Yoimiya’s original fan art to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram using the hashtags “#Yoimiya” and “#GenshinImpact” (without the quotes) when posting. This contest allows entrants to submit multiple artworks, but only one can be selected as the winner. This means that each entrant can only win one prize, regardless of the amount of fan art she has posted.
Once you’ve published your art, you’ll need to complete this Google Docs form as it asks for players’ UID, links to their posts, and a screenshot of their account to verify account ownership. This is the last step to enter the contest.
For those who want to participate and show their artistic talents, here are the winners:
- First prize (one winner)
3,000 primogems + $500 - Second prize (three winners)
1000 primogems + $200 - Third Prize (five winners)
500 primogems + $100 - Lucky Prize (10 winners)
$20 worth of merchandise prize
The Judging Phase will last for most of August, but those who manage to win will be able to use these Primogems on some of the future character banners that will appear when we set foot in Sumeru for Update 3.0.
