The war in Ukraine caused various things, among which was the departure of the developers of the GSC Game World team to Prague, as well as the subsequent postponement of the expected post-apocalyptic event. STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl next year, which, of course, will freeze.
However, it is still true that the title will be published in our country from official Czech localization, which was already confirmed by Playman last year. And by the looks of it, that’s right. translation work has finally begun.
This information was shared on Twitter by, perhaps, the most famous domestic game translator Philip Zhenishek, whom you may know thanks to the localization of the third Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077 or Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey. In addition, he added that he was looking forward to this transfer and return to the Zone, which is definitely not standard in his work, since the transfer rather spoils his gaming experience.
It’s hard to wait for the translation of the game, because I usually mess things up while I’m working.
The exception is STALKER 2: The Heart of Chernobyl.
