What might be even more impressive than Shahar’s series of connections is the fact that it was all apparently done without spending any money.
Shahar’s Reddit post details the experience of running Genshin Impact for 662 straight days, including how it all started and how they carried on even when their friends gave up and left Genshin behind.
“All my friends and I played through most of the first update together, and they eventually quit the game before the third update,” says Shahar, describing a situation familiar to many of us still playing the game. the only one of the group of friends who stayed in the game, although others returned from time to time.
During his playing time, Shahar managed to attract several five-star characters including Jin, Qiqi, Mona, Keqing, Childe, Albedo, Hu Tao, Zhongli, Klee, Ayaka, Yoimiya, Shenhe, and Itto. That’s pretty lucky for a free player, even though playing the game every day for that long should have earned you a decent amount of Primogems.
“Throughout this journey, I was tempted to go whaling, but decided to keep my dignity as an F2P player,” explains Shahar.
I certainly can’t say the same thanks to some cool character banners, very similar to the character banners coming to 3.0 with the arrival of Dendro.
It is not yet known if the HoYoverse will increase the AR cap with the arrival of the Sumeru region, but there is always a good reason to earn Adventure EXP after reaching the cap. Instead, he transforms into Morata.
