Every World of Warcraft expansion adds a new set of cheats to each class’s toolkit, and Dragonflight is no exception. While we haven’t yet had official sneak peeks at all of the classes, the astute data collectors at Wowhead.com have discovered a plethora of new spells and talents. Assigning these abilities to classes is a bit speculative, as some talents may come from sources other than the new talent trees, but it’s interesting nonetheless. For the full list, check out the detailed breakdowns on Wowhead, but for now, let’s take a look at some of the latest new abilities to be revealed in Dragonflight Alpha 2.
Warrior
The second alpha version brought some new and interesting features. All specs have access to Fearless Duelist, a talent that targets the first enemy hit, increasing your damage and reducing their damage.
Blood and Thunder, the reworked talent from Warlords of Draenor is sure to be a hit with defending warriors. This is a powerful talent that spreads Rupture to all targets hit by your Beam.
For weapons, Bloodsurge lets you generate rage from bleeding effects, and the Fury spec got Pulverise; an ability that increases Onslaught and increases the duration of Enrage.
All specs can also access Thunder’s Roar, a conical AoE that causes bleeding; and Sidearm, which gives your auto attacks a chance to launch weapons at nearby enemies.
Paladin
Just some new abilities this time for armored defenders, and both for the healing spec. Sacrifice of the Just reduces the cooldown of Holy Sacrifice Blessing of the Sacrifice. Seal of Clarity adds 1% to Holy Power consumption, reducing the Holy Power cost of Word of Glory or Shield of the Righteous.
Wizard
Most of the new abilities this time around are for arcane mages, but there are other specializations as well. Harmonic Echo, the alliance ability that improves Radiant Spark’s AoE, returns as a primary ability. Arcane Mages will get their Arcane Explosions and Volleys along with the new talents Concentration, Amazing Scientist, and Arcane Bombardment. Meanwhile, firebenders get the Pyroblast buff with Tempered Flames; and Tinder (not that one) which buffs your Fireball if you haven’t used it for a while.
