Minecraft mods can do a lot these days, but some of the best ones add unexpected functionality. Some let you see forever, some let you race Mario Karts, and some turn the game into an Elden Ring. However, the Mi Alliance mod is something completely different and it looks amazing.
My Alliance: Invasion! The mod was released in June, but has been constantly updated since then to help fix bugs and even add new features. This Minecraft mod adds new enemies called Mi Alliance.
As well as looking like the old school Worms characters, Mi Alliance is pretty awesome. First, they’re more than happy to build their own structures, which is pretty weird on its own. However, they are also much smarter than many Minecraft mobs and will roam the world in packs ready to fight anyone they come across. You can see them in action in the first trailer for the mod.
However, you don’t have to deal with these threats on your own, and in fact, you can create your own Mi Alliance and command them to fight alongside you. Update 2.0, released this week (July 18), adds even more to the mod, including more enemies, weapons, and minerals. This even includes unique vehicles to help you explore and new ruins to immerse yourself in.
This is a hugely ambitious mod that really helps veteran players feel the freshness of Minecraft again, and if updates keep coming at this rate, you can expect it to become something truly exceptional over the months to come. It’s always nice to see a mod go from something good to something innovative, and The Mi Alliance: Invasion! it certainly has that potential.
