Ubisoft have deleted development Splinter Cell VR, Ghost Recon Frontline and according to journalist Stephen Totilo, there are two more games yet to be announced.

Splinter Cell VR revealed in 2020 was supposed to land in headsets Oculus Mission 2 with a section in virtual reality from Assassin’s Creed, which we imagine is still in production. But to date, the game has never been shown in action.

The case of Ghost Recon Frontline is very different, with the new free-to-play battle royale announced last October and the protagonist of a series of closed tests that we think didn’t deliver the results the company had hoped for at this point.

Frankly, nothing is known about the other two games that were canceled by Ubisoft, at least for now: perhaps a leak could steal information about the projects in question that could be linked to new intellectual property or perhaps even mark the return of some of them. old franchise.

What is certain is that this is a day to forget for the French house, see also Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers delayed to 2023 or 2024.
