Last June, we saw the announcement of a new game from Ubisoft, which is based on the famous movie franchise. This is Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, a first-person adventure game developed by Massive Entertainment, the makers of The Division. The game was originally supposed to release this year, but given that we haven’t received more previews or at least details since the trailer was announced, it doesn’t look like the game will actually release this year. And this was also confirmed by Ubisoft in its latest quarterly financial report.
The company announced that the game will only appear in the next fiscal year, which will begin in April 2023 and end in March 2024.. Insider Tom Henderson added quite interesting Information, and the fact that just a few weeks ago, Ubisoft told retailers that the game would be released this November. So plans can change pretty quickly. Either way, the game is still due out on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
As for the official report, there is another interesting point in it. Another premium game that hasn’t been announced yet, but was originally supposed to be released this year, has also been pushed back to the next fiscal year. Since, according to Ubisoft, this is supposed to be a “smaller” game, it’s possible that this is the project known as Assassin’s Creed Rift, which was first mentioned by journalist Jason Schreier a few months ago.
Ubisoft will also release an “unannounced premium game” in 2023/24, which was originally planned for 2022/23. pic.twitter.com/IRpHtSsMbO
