League of Legends Akali voiceover change after community outrage

However, with the arrival of Star Guardian Akali, voiced by Ashley Burch, Riot clearly felt it was time to lay down the baseline vocal lines. Best known in the gaming world for her roles as Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn), Chloe Price (Life is Strange), Tiny Tina (Borderlands) and Viper (Valorant), it’s generally agreed that Burch is a perfect fit for the new Game. .
