Today, Pearl Abyss revealed what the final playable class’s Awakening will look like. Dracania is an all-female character that has some dragon blood in it. After her initial introduction with the “Assassin” sword, her second variant is now on display.
You can get an idea of whether it looks attractive or not with the help of the trailer:
What is this awakening? At character level 56, each player can choose how to continue with that character. He can go down the “Legacy” path, where the gameplay of this character does not change, but only strengthens his old skills and gains a few new ones. However, the second option is called Awakening. At the same time, the character’s weapon changes to a new type and receives a completely different set of skills. In most cases, the gameplay will be radically different from what the player is used to. If the player chooses Legacy, they cannot use Awakening skills. If the player chooses Awakening, they can still use the old skills, but without these “inheritance” upgrades.
For comparison, you can watch the trailer for the original Brawl, which only shows the Legacy path.
Black Desert Online (not to be confused with Black Desert Mobile, it’s a completely different game) is available on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4, and Drakania Awakening will be part of an update scheduled for July 27th.
