  • Gamers playing League and TFT will progress through a gripping tale of love, loss, forgiveness and friendship as seen through the eyes of a new group of heroes led by Akali and Kai’Sa. At the same time, they’ll increase their “connection” with various Guardians by completing in-game champion quests, unlocking rewards, and discovering new stories along the way.

During the Guardians of the Star event, Riot will also enable Riot’s nonprofit initiative, the Riot Games Social Impact Fund, to support charities around the world, giving players multiple ways to contribute to a good cause. Riot will donate 20% of the proceeds from the Star Guardians Event Pass in League of Legends from July 14 to August 15, in partnership with ImpactAssets, to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. From July 28 to August 29, Riot will donate 100% of Star Guardian Taliyah’s proceeds and sales of all related bundles to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund.
