Fortnite Zero Build Arena is now available. It’s finally time for construction haters to jump on the competition and try to climb the corporate ladder, and that can only be good news. Not only does this mode cost you renown, but you can also earn loot if you do well enough.
This season is only available until August 30 and has the same loot as the normal Zero Build mode. This means that if you’ve used the Zero Build modes anyway, you won’t find anything surprising here other than the ever-increasing competitiveness of the players you’re up against.
Also, it’s only available in trios at the moment, which will frustrate some people who prefer the cold, harsh isolation of a game without teammates. We don’t blame you, all of us have been given up for dead by our comrades and it hurts.
In the arena, players gain popularity by doing certain activities that serve as a kind of MMR, meaning the more you get, the stronger the players you are likely to fight. It is also the hype that allows you to advance in the leagues, and according to HypeXyou can unlock multiple sprays and emotes to reach certain milestones before the mode wears off again.
This is another thing to do before the summer update, which should be released next week. We’ve been inundated with unique challenges lately, and many of us have just recovered from trying to complete all of Nindo’s challenges, but hey, it’s more Fortnite, so it could be worse.
