First person shooter goldeneye 007 since 1997 for the Nintendo 64 by Rare has been considered a cult game. It is not surprising that speculation and allusions are attracting more and more attention. In a word, everyone would like a remake / remaster for modern platforms.
The official announcement of the project is just around the corner. Recently, we have heard this phrase from various insiders. But now we may know why we haven’t seen it yet. The return of the Bond movie had to be postponed indefinitely due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Journalist Jeff Grubb specifically wrote that ad is pending.

In an earlier post, Grubb wrote about the release delay due to the presence of the Soviet Union in GoldenEye 007’s story. If you don’t believe him, Eurogamer UK sources also confirm that an announcement is just around the corner.
None of the sources added further details. Previously, there were rumors that the game will be released on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. According to earlier internal plans, the release was supposed to be aimed at this year.
Goldeneye is still in limbo due to the war. 1 in 100 team leaders left Microsoft. I don’t know what that means for the game.
