Players exploring the Vampire Survivors 0.8.0 beta update discovered a new relic added to the roguelike game that allows you to activate the cap feature to evolve your most powerful Vampire Survivors weapon into even more powerful forms. The update also includes the promised bestiary and a new dragon character for the vampire game, as Luca teased developer Poncle ahead of the update’s release.

The most interesting aspects of the new update 0.8.0 start with the fifth stage of the game, Capella Magna, which now has a new temporary form. At the same time, ordinary objects are removed from the map by a special “golden hand” harvester, which appears at the beginning of the scene. Surviving the 30-minute mark triggers a unique event where all of the reapers are fused Megazord-style to form a super reaper called “Ender”. Once you defeat Ender, Capella Magna will return to normal for future runs.
After defeating Ender, a new relic drops: the Great Gospel. This relic allows players to permanently activate “Limit Break” at the stage selection screen in the game. There’s also a new addition to the roster of secret Vampire Survivors characters to unlock, a bony dragon named Gains Boros who starts out with a celestial sword and gains 2% growth per level, which should work well with the new cap mechanic. .
The new arcana “Game Killer” stops gaining experience and instead turns gems into explosive projectiles. This also ensures that all treasures contain at least three items. As for the things that are mentioned in the patch notes, you can now see a list of your exiled items, and when they max out, unless you go over the cap of course you can choose to always carry a bag of gold regardless. , or always grab a chicken if you’re low on health (which will give you gold if you don’t need to heal).
