A new mod for Halo 4 aims to rework the popular FPS game from the Halo collection: Master Chief. The initial release fulfills Composer’s epic mission with gameplay tweaks and model changes, especially Johnny the Master Chief himself, which is more in line with the Halo 3 mod as they aren’t officially out yet. .
The Halo 2 and Halo 3 mods were added to the Master Chief Collection in October 2021, while the ODST mod was added in April. However, there is no sign of Halo 4 mod compatibility at this time, although 343 Industries says they intend to release them in 2022.
They haven’t arrived yet, so review mods like Halo 4 Reclaimer from the creator of Unseen Halo have been spectacularly built without the proper tools. The current version available is just a beta version based on Composer and the final version will come once the modding tools are available.
Reclaimer features a “complete overhaul” of Halo 4’s “Compose” mission with “many gameplay changes”. However, the patterns are more visible. Master Chief, for example, has been completely revamped with his slightly softer armor from Halo 3, which makes a lot of canon sense given that he doesn’t change armor between 3 and Halo 4.
