The action-RPG Forspoken from Luminous Productions looks very ambitious from the very beginning. However, this definitely affects the duration of development. The game was introduced in 2020 codenamed Project Athia, but later we got the final title, new trailers and other stuff, and the title is aimed at this year. At last year’s The Game Awards, we found out the release date is May 24th. Unfortunately, this did not work out and the game was postponed to October 11th. But even this is not the final release date, as the developers announced on social networks today.

Forgotten will come out January 24, 2023, so there will be a delay of more than three months. However, the notice states that all game elements are completed and development is currently in its final stageswhen the details are only being finalized and optimized. However, it seems to be taking longer than expected.

“We want to thank you for your continued support and patience along the way. Your enthusiasm for this game inspires us every day and we can’t wait to show you more about Forspoken this summer.” — conclude the developers.

Forspoken is coming to PC and PlayStation 5, where it will be exclusive for two years.
