There are plenty of Minecraft maps that feature blocky versions of your favorite games, from Elden Ring to Mario Kart. One of the most impressive games we have seen is still in development and is dedicated to World of Warcraft; in fact, it’s so impressive that even Blizzard has raved about it.
YouTuber Yunatahel, who makes a lot of World of Warcraft videos, is also stormwind rebuild from an MMO game to Minecraft. Stormwind, also known as Stormwing City, is the capital of the region known as Stormwind and the largest human city on Azeroth. It is named so because of the sudden gusts of wind that come from the ley lines around the city.
Although this version of Minecraft is still in development, the video shows an incredible level of detail and craftsmanship, not to mention admiration for the source material. Each building has a beautiful tiled roof, the cobblestone pathways look almost lifelike, and the lighting effects also add a sense of life to the area. The area is full of shops, canals and churches and we look forward to exploring it.

A release date for the map has yet to be announced, but we highly recommend keeping an eye on Yunatahel’s Twitter and YouTube if you want to explore the area when you’re ready. We’re also betting that modders will soon be able to add quests, but we’re getting a bit ahead of ourselves.
