Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster has sold 600,000 copies worldwide

Most recently revealed in Atlus financial report Shin Megami Tensei 3: Night HD Remaster gathered 600,000 copies sold Worldwide since its launch in Japan in October 2020 and in Europe and North America in August 2021.

A figure that confirms the rise in popularity of the series and Atlus games in general. 600,000 copies may not seem like a lot, but in reality they are more than a positive result for a remake of a title that belongs to a somewhat niche genre.

Just to make a comparison, even though Shin Megami Tensei 5, the last episode of the series, has exceeded 1 million copies according to the data announced by Atlus in April, we have to take into account the fact that we are talking about in this case. Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne HD Remaster has also landed on PS4 and PC.

Talking about the growing popularity of Shin Megami Tensei, Sega announced yesterday that it plans to adapt Atlus games, including those from the Persona series, into live-action TV series and movies.
