International electronic music superstar, advocate for meaningful social change, and popular Overwatch support hero, Lucio has an affinity for frogs – it’s pretty obvious just by looking at the iconography surrounding the character’s design. However, Blizzard seems to be taking that intimacy to the next level with Overwatch 2 – and having fun with it, too. On the upcoming Overwatch 2 Paraiso map, in Rio de Janeiro where Lucio is from, eagle-eyed fans saw that all of Lucio’s album covers were actually inspired by popular Kermit the Frog memes.
As the aptly named “DoctorDeadeye” noted in the Overwatch subreddit, Blizzard has hidden four photo frames on the upcoming map – for players to explore when figuring out how to access the Overwatch 2 beta. .
You can find Lucio’s four album covers in these four photo frames. Three of the images are clear references to popular Kermit the Frog memes, and the fourth image is a reference to Lucio-Oh’s fictional (but also real) new cereal. We’re not sure, but it could indicate that Lucio added a theme to the cereal.
To make things even funnier, each album cover is named after the album, as you’d expect. There’s one that we can’t quite make out from the available images, but it can be made out in the “Inner Monlogue” and “Millennium Anxiety” visuals for the “evil Kermit” meme and the “sad Kermit” meme, respectively.
Luckily, if you want to know what the third has to say, you can now jump into the Overwatch 2 beta and check it out. We don’t know exactly where to find them, but we bet they’re hiding in Lucio’s Clube Sinestesia.
