After some online suggestions and some fan sleight of hand, Nintendo has finally confirmed that a Nintendo Direct will indeed take place on June 28, 2022. But it’s actually a smaller mini-game direct to third-party games.
more The Nintendo Direct June 2022 start time is set for 6:00 a.m. PT, 9:00 a.m. ET, 2:00 p.m. BST, 3:00 p.m. CEST for June 28, 2022 and lasts 25 minutes† As mentioned, the show will only focus on third-party games, so don’t expect Splatoon to release before the Splatoon 3 release date or Zelda’s next adventure before The Legends of Zelda Breath release date of the Wild 2.
However, there is one game we can expect to see, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, which will be released in 2022 and hasn’t been seen since last summer. Suggested rumors Ubisoft will be showcasing the game this month, and that seems like the best place to be, as it’s technically a third-party game developed by Ubisoft. Hopefully, we’ll get a gameplay breakdown and release date for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Other games likely to release include the recently overhauled Slime Rancher on Switch and a new version of No Man’s Sky on the system.
The video will be released on YouTube and will not be streamed live, just a video that Nintendo will post upon departure.
