Representatives of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED assured the quality of the game before the release of Cyberpunk 2077. There was even talk about the so-called first day patch, which fixes most of the errors in the initial chapters of the game so that players do not see them. All this and much more led the developers to lie about the quality received during the presentations of Cyberpunk 2077 and hide errors and problems.

The crowning achievement was an apology in which CD Projekt RED claimed that testing had not revealed all significant bugs. Given the vastness of the name, this may be partly true. But that still didn’t explain the optimization problems themselves and the bigger bugs that every tester had to notice.

Now it turns out that at least in part for the quality of Cyberpunk 2077 can external company Quantic Lab. Here he hired RED Project CD for testing and quality assurance (QA). A 72-page document obtained by YouTuber Upper Echelon Gamers from his informant reveals that CD Project RED accuses Quantic Lab of the following:

– Quantum Lab overvalued the size of his team testing Cyberpunk 2077 to keep the contract.

– Quantic Lab claimed that its team consisted of experienced employees, but in fact it was about juniors with less than six months of experience in QA.

– Quantic Laboratory daily error reporting quotawhich resulted in CDPR receiving thousands of relatively meaningless bug reports from testers, which took a long time and resulted in issues that broke the game not being discovered and prioritized.

If the information is correct, then we have a big case here, but none of the interested parties commented on it.
