Free next-gen upgrades for Resident Evil released

Nothing amazing, but it will definitely please. Today there are improvements for Resident Evil 2 Remake, resident evil 3 remake as well as Resident Evil 7.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S after download free updates you can play these horror actions in 4K resolution, higher frame rate, ray tracing and 3D sound. The developers have not forgotten about the capabilities of the DualSense driver on the PS5.

The update will be released today also for PC version, where it is also free for owners of the original remakes. Expect slightly higher system requirements. They all now have the same requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7, 8.1, 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core™ i5-4460 or AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 8GB RAM
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeon R7 260x with 2 GB VRAM.
  • DirectX: Version 11
