You’re probably familiar with Obsidian through the Pillars of Eternity or Fallout: New Vegas series. We know that he is currently working on Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2 and Survival Grounded, which will receive version 1.0 this year. However, at the Xbox conference, we saw the announcement of another project that has been talked about for a long time. It’s called Pentiment and is being developed by a small team led by an experienced developer. Josh Sawyer.
Peniment installed in 16th century and at first sight attracts with its unconventional styling. In the game, we take on the role of a traveler and artist named Andreas Mahler. His friend is in trouble when he is accused of murder and no one but Mahler wants to defend him. The artist will become day by day detective. It was from here that it was previously reported that it would be some kind of medieval version of Disco Elysium, no combat systemwhich, judging by the trailer, was confirmed.
The peniment will be published in November this yearheading to PC and Xbox console. Of course already will be available on Game Pass on release day.
Intrigues, scandals and death. Just another day in the 16th century.
