Courtiers of Nurgle’s festering droppings, the Nurglings pose little threat on their own in Total War: Warhammer III. But the nasty little critters can be enough of a problem, unless you’re standing on a wall where they can’t reach you. However, if you’re looking for a way to make the Nurglings a little more dangerous, this handy strategy game mod lets them climb ladders during siege battles.
Climbing Nurglings and Flamers does exactly what it says on the tin: it allows Nurgles of Nurgle and Flamers of Tzeentch to climb ladders and stand on the walls of a fortified settlement during siege battles. While it’s useful for the Nurgle and Tzeentch campaigns, you’ll find that the AI uses this new combat tactic as well, so watch out for flamethrowers taking up positions along your walls where they can unleash chaos magic on you. you. defensive formations (note, however, that this does not include elevated flamethrowers).
For their part, the Nurglings climb the stairs in small groups, as Nurglings almost always do. They’re vulnerable to just about anything, so getting them to the point where they can really start to climb is a challenge in itself, but they’ll happily gnaw at the ankles of any archers or other defenders standing on the ramparts if they can. . to reach.
You can find the mod on the Steam Workshop.
