A few days ago, we wrote that the editors of Game Informer magazine could already test the upcoming horror film The Callisto Protocol from the new studio Striking Distance, which is run by experienced developer Glenn Schofield, best known as the creator of the Dead Space series. However, it wasn’t until the latest State of Play event that we saw the long-awaited new demo, which outlined the gameplay and revealed the release date.
Paradoxically, The Callisto Protocol will arrive on the same day as EA Motive’s competitive remake of the first Dead Space. While the remake is set to release on January 27 next year, Schofield’s news release date is set for December 2, 2022. The title is aimed at PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
As the name suggests, The Callisto Protocol takes us to the month of Callisto, where, as pilot Jacob Lee, we fail and end up in jail. But, as the protagonist soon finds out, something is wrong with this place.
Finally! I wanted to talk about this for several months. I’m so excited to show you our 100% playable trailer. Thanks for waiting. I hope you will like it! https://t.co/FdXvsm9SCp
