Several new Minecraft leaks suggest that something new and big is coming to the construction game. Minecraft hosts a lot of stuff, like user-generated Dark Souls adventures and GIFs of working cows. However, he did not see live events of any kind. Well, that could change.
Phoenix SC is a YouTuber who remixes Minecraft content, including analyzing leaks from time to time. Such is the case with this video, where Phoenix SC talks about interesting information that has appeared on the developer wiki. In the game’s April update, several new lines were added to the development language that specifically tease a potential Minecraft Live event.
Minecraft Live is a virtual news event with developer discussions and votes for new mobs, with Allay being the latest winner. It’s also something that traditionally happens online, but not with live events in the game itself. According to Phoenix SC and revealed dev text, that could change, at least in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
Text suggestions include the Minecraft Live countdown, the text “Minecraft Live is coming!” as well as a note regarding voting. All of this is unconfirmed at this time, so take it as is, but we’re assuming the event will be available via the launcher or title screen, rather than appearing in your world in giant caps. This is something you will only see in Fortnite.
