So finally here. After a lot of speculation and behind-the-scenes information, especially from journalist Jeff Grub, comes the official announcement of the 2019 Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. We’ve only seen the teaser trailer so far and don’t know many details. However, everything is exactly as Grubb said.
The second part is really called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The Jedi will star Cal Kestiswho we already played in Fallen Order, and he will again be assisted by a tiny robot DB1. Of course, during the game we will meet other characters.
History is happening five years after the events of the first partwhen Kal is one of the last surviving Jedi and must always be one step ahead of the Empire.
In terms of gameplay, we can look forward to improved combat system and new skillswhich Cal gains as his connection to the Force grows.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is aimed at PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. It should come out sometime this year 2023, no indication. In any case, Grubb previously stated that the game should be released in February or March next year.
Perhaps we could see more detailed demos at the upcoming Summer Game Fest or Xbox presentation.
