Team Mundfishwho is preparing an atmospheric first-person event atomic heart, said that he had left Moscow and continued to develop the game. The creators did not disclose what prompted them, but it is clear that the decision is related to the war in Ukraine and sanctions against Russian companies.
We currently do not know when Atomic Heart will be released. According to an earlier leak from the GeForce Now database, the date was set for June 2nd, but that’s definitely not going to happen now.
Mundfish also said that they have been with Atomic Heart since 2017, and the number of employees has gradually increased to 120 people who have worked a total of 630,000 hours.
History is happening in an alternative post-Soviet era and will be approximately 20 to 30 hours. We find ourselves in the role of a special agent working for the government, in charge of investigating a base where strange experiments are being carried out. The developers do not hide that they were inspired by the BioShock series, Soviet science fiction and the era of space discoveries in the USSR.
