GTA Online weekly update increases VIP and Vespucci jobs

Another Thursday means another weekly update for GTA Online. The official patch notes from Rockstar Games are coming later today, but the crime game’s multiplayer update is out now, so we’ve got all the important information here and now.

This week, you will receive a variety of activities, including double rewards for VIP work, which can be done by acting as a VIP or CEO of an organization. Players can earn double the normal in-game prize and increase their reputation points by participating in these events. Bodyguards and associates will also receive double the normal subscription salary for assisting the VIP/CEO.

In-game currency and reputation rewards are also doubled in the new Job for Vespucci Remix, an enemy mode inspired by the Italian Job that pits the player in a compact Issi Classic against a squad of intercepting cops. This week’s double rewards also extend to Truck Starts, Mobile Ops, Motorcycle Club Jobs and Contracts, and Rocket Base, Diamond, and Bunker Adversary modes.

If you’re in the market for a new car, GTA Online is hosting a Youga Classic Prize Race this week, which you can win by finishing in the top 5 in car races two days in a row.
