The first stage of the competition was the group stage, where the two finalists were absolute. The Black Dragons won all three games they played there and took first place in Group 2, while MIBR repeated the same success in Group 3.
In the playoffs, BD started with a 16-7 victory over Quem São Elas, also beating Ragnarok Valkyries 16-2, but faced MIBR themselves winners 16-14. Then the team came back even stronger from the bottom and again defeated Quem São Elas 2-0 and finally played in a 2-1 rematch against Made in Brazil.
MIBR, on the other hand, have won almost every match they have played across W7M, Redragon, powerpuff girls, and BD with their only loss in the Grand Finals.
