There map from Hand Ring it was changed A lot from the launch of the game to the present. Patch after patch, FromSoftware has made numerous tweaks to the environment, although they hardly ever show them in the various update release notes. The video below, taken from the imaginary wall YouTube channel, shows many more changed elements than expected, including removed objects and moved paths:
As you can see, some changes are really subtle and hard to spot during gameplay, while others are about last-minute changes that aren’t reflected in the game map. There’s also the removal of builds that were obviously supposed to be in the game, but have been removed. As usual, FromSoftware should have worked on the morphology of Interregnum by the end of the game, with second thoughts, additions and deletions.
