Leaked photos from the novelty silent Hill caused much more speculation. Well-known insider Dusk Golem, who brought them in, said over the weekend that there is much, much more to come from this long-forgotten brand. This is based on an earlier assumption that Konami licensed the franchise to other studios.

Must be among them Polish Studio Bloober Team, which entered into a strategic partnership with Konami a year ago, is dedicated to developing unspecified content and sharing know-how. At the time, horror writers The Medium, Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, and Observer had been working with a major publisher for a year on a new horror game.

But when the partnership took place, the Bloober team denied that it had anything to do with Silent Hill. However, they may work for this brand. Now the news has come that the developers are going remake of Silent Hill 2which will some time exclusive to PlayStation. This is stated in the NateTheHate2 Twitter account, while journalist Jeff Grubb noticed that more insiders brought the same information.

The remake of the popular 2001 second part boasts redesigned puzzles and new endings. This also fits into the agreement between Sony and the Bloober Team, which we announced this weekend.

If you are wondering why a remake of the second part, and not the first, then we have no idea. However, Silent Hill 2’s story works great on its own. In addition, the remake can lead to major changes, and not only graphic.

But this is not the end, an even more important message for many. He will also take part in the return of Silent Hill. Hideo Kojima. The pieces of the puzzle seem to be slowly coming together. Last year, there was talk of bringing Kojima Productions into a partnership with Sony. So maybe Kojima has a new chance, maybe he will revive the promising Silent Hills that he once showed us as playable PT prototype

There should be more Silent Hills in development, including a new main part (the one from Kojima?) and side stories (spin-offs). Konami was supposed to make a big announcement for E3 last year, but the fair was cancelled. So, hopefully, the opening will take place this year.

AT LEAST THREE GAMES IN DEVELOPMENT?

Andy Robinson of VGC stated a few months ago that he personally knows about at least three different Silent Hill games being worked on by three different studios around the world.

Interestingly, according to Robinson, initially people from Supermassive Games were supposed to work on one of the projects. However, the Until Dawn project was ultimately not signed (Konami did not like this) and was created instead. Dark Pictures episode titles.

It is also reported that Konami plans to develop brands with outside companies. Castlevania and Metal Gear Hard. In this case, the releases are separated by several years. The Japanese company’s outlook on outsourcing has changed after it failed with Metal Gear Survive and Contra: Rogue Corps.
