Alan Wake is celebrating its 12th anniversary today and Remedy decided to release a special video for the occasion where we learned new information about all kinds of projects related to this brand.
The first one will definitely appeal to Nintendo fans. Alan Wake Remasteredwhich was released last October on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, namely also aimed at Nintendo Switch. We haven’t changed the details or the release date yet, but Remedy promises to keep us updated.
The second project is the Alan Wake series, which was talked about a few years ago, but this time, for the first time in a long time, we get at least some new information. Sam Lake announced that the rights to the series were bought by AMC. But here we don’t have any details.
The most anticipated, of course, is Alan Wake 2. Announced at last year’s The Game Awards, the game is being released on the proprietary Northlight engine and is due out next year. This will be Remedy’s first survival horror film.
According to Lake, development is going very well and most of the game is already playable.. Unfortunately he said that we will not see new information in the summeras originally planned. Developers just need more time. However, we received new concept art, which you can see above. Even they make it clear that Remedy is creating a much darker and more gruesome experience this time around.
