It is an open source technology that aims to increase the number of frames per second (FPS) thanks to the so-called scaling. FSR uses data from previous frames, so you only need to work with changes. So it competes with Nvidia’s DLLS feature. However, unlike it, FSR is also compatible with cards from other companies such as Nvidia or Intel. In short in supported games you will achieve more FPS at the same time with better or similar image quality.
