Users of the program Windows 11 Insiders can now access a new feature designed specifically for PC gaming:Xbox Controller Stickbuilt into Preview Build 22616along with various other fixes and additions to the operating system.
The Xbox Controller Stick is a feature directly linked to the use of the console. official Xbox controller from Microsoft, which allows you to get convenient shortcuts to access games.
With the recall of said bar, the most recently installed games on the system and the most recently played games appear on it, so they can be launched with a simple push of a button on the controller.
To summon the bar, you need to press the middle button on the Xbox controller when not in a game, which will reveal the Xbox Controller Bar overlay: various small windows appear on the bar corresponding to the following. recently played or loaded gamesby choosing to go directly into them.
To be able to try this feature, you must subscribe to the Windows Insider channel by installing the Xbox Insider Hub, logging in with your account, and agreeing to participate in the program. Among the previews available is the one for Windows Gaming, which allows access to Preview Build 22616 and hence the inclusion of the Xbox Controller Bar among the functions of the Windows 11 operating system.
