Devil May Cry boasts 5 millionaire sales and is already a huge success for Capcom

The Japanese company has updated its hack and slash numbers on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

One year ago, capcom shared the sales figures of some of the most popular games of the last few years. With that data, it was clear that their major franchises continue to pull the car at the Japanese company, but they also implied that Devil May Cry 5 wanted the saga to join the party.

As Gematsu has gathered, Capcom can boast of the title’s fifth number-one installment. 5 million games sold on different platforms where it is available. These are PC (via Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, but it can also work on Luna.

Sold over 5 million copies on PC, PlayStation and Xbox4.8 million spoken in December 2021, so hack and slash at least 200,000 more copies in the last quarter. This was bolstered by Special Edition, a next-gen release that was released almost two years after the original game came to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
