Sonic Origins: release date and trailer for consoles and PC collection

After the leaked information a few hours ago, SEGA officially announced it. release date from sonic origins. Collection featuring classic episodes of the saga, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X | S will be available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store). 23 June 2022. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer, which you can see in the player above.

Sonic Origins is a collection of remastered versions. Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic CD, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic 3 & KnucklesThis re-release features higher resolution, new animated opening and ending game sequences, content, challenges and special stages unlockable through the Museum.

Those who are more nostalgic can relive the original experience as well. classic modeChoose Anniversary Mode as in the original with resolution and limited lives, or with enhanced graphics and unlimited lives.

In addition to the Standard Edition, Digital Quality Version, the base game and various additional extras such as high difficulty missions, additional music tracks for Mega Drive / Genesis games, and more. Those who pre-order the game will also receive the “Start Dash Pack”, which includes 100 extra coins, instant-on Mirror mode and a special background. The ‘Premium Entertainment Pack’ and ‘Classic Music Pack’ are also on the way, with more details to come in the coming months.
