Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will support DLSS By Nvidia on PC, but may not be at launch. Team Ninja’s producers Fumihiko Yasuda and Masaaki Yamagiwa explained this in an interview, and we learn from here that the game will not have the following features: cross-play between different platforms.
“Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will have Nvidia DLSS on PC as well as mouse and keyboard support,” the two producers told Wccftech. “However, we cannot say at this time whether it will be implemented at launch, as in Nioh 2, or with a later patch, as in Strager of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.”
As stated at the beginning, Yasuda and Yamagiwa also stated that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will not support cross-play between platforms that do not belong to the same family. This means, for example, Xbox Series X|S users can play with Xbox One, but not PlayStation and PC.
“Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will offer cross-gen multiplayer support, allowing users on PS5 and PS4 or Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One to play together. Cross-platform between PlayStation and Xbox users will not be supported”.
In the same interview, the two producers of Team Ninja revealed that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be wider and more open than Nioh and will focus more on exploration.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be available on PC and consoles at: March 2, 2023. It will be included in the PC and Xbox Game Pass catalog from launch.
