Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has also arrived on PC, and these are a great pair of games we recommend. However, there is one flaw: It doesn’t contain the three original episodes, an odd choice for many since we’re talking about a plot-based series. Why me not converted for the first three Uncharted PCs? The answer comes from Naughty Dog: graphically, three games would be too old and too much work needed.
Full, Naughty Dog writes via their official website: “You may be wondering why we didn’t start with the original Uncharted. While Nathan Drake’s first three adventures for the PlayStation 3 still had storytelling, we felt they would need a major visual overhaul to match modern PC versions and players’ expectations.”
“The Uncharted series includes: independent adventures Players old and new can dive in, and so, while the stories and character development in the first three games are still great, we think players can easily dive into Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and rekindle the stories of Nathan, Elena, and Sully.
“Especially introduction of new characters Like Sam Drake, Rafe Adler, and Nadine Ross, A Thief’s End offers players a lot regardless of Nathan Drake’s background. And Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, which is also included in the collection, presents a new playable hero, Chloe Frazer. Fans familiar with the original trilogy will be happy to see it return, but newcomers will have no trouble understanding its great story starting with the collection.”
Simply put, two games are totally enjoyable without playing the first part of the Uncharted saga, according to Naughty Dog. What do you think?
