Andrii “Nizrok” KorzinkinAnimator who worked on the Metro series 4A Gamesis is dead He is fighting against Russian invaders in Ukraine. His friend Leonid Stepanov from Remedy Entertainment made the news, briefly describing the incident on Twitter.
“Andrii” Nizrok “Korzinkin (@korzinkin_3d) died in the line of duty fighting for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. He was a talented animator, an incredible person and a true hero. Rest in peace my friend. they all miss you.”
Stepanov also mentioned Korzinkin’s last tweet dated January 9, 2021, where we can see a beautiful animation inspired by Tekken. In his later post, he also posted a video showing some of Korzinkin’s work:

Stepanov also gave some information about his friend, who is a man full of passions: “Andrii loved Cory Barlog’s work. He was impressed by the directing quality and cinematic of God of War. He also appreciated Cory Barlog’s professional path, early in his career. He was an animator.
Therefore, in addition to developing as an animator, Andrii was developing other skills needed in video game development (design and programming). One day he wanted to create the project of his dreams. Unfortunately this is no longer possible.”
