Sony’s latest console, released in November 2020, will soon extinguish the second candle, and the PlayStation 5 still seems hard to accept. Indeed, when it arrives, the promotions fade quickly and fall back on bots or lucky page updates.
To give everyone a chance and avoid a massive influx of requests on its servers, Amazon is changing the way it sells the PS5 and is installing a queuing system.
An invite prompt will now appear instead of the buy button, allowing dealers to create a waiting list. If it is not possible to know the waiting time in advance (it depends on many factors), Amazon specifies that if received, an email with a link valid for 72 hours will be sent.
It’s a great way for a business to delight its “regular” customers by eliminating the problem of bots. If you want to take advantage of Amazon’s stock returns, we recommend that you immediately register to queue.
