Supermassive Games developers released Patch 1.05 horror thriller Stone pit. Among the innovations of the update, we see the addition of an option that does the update. More difficult QTEs reducing the time available to give the correct inputs.
As explained by the developers, with the option “minimum timer” “Every QTE will require lightning-fast reflexes and every second will make a difference. A single moment of hesitation can lead to a gruesome death.”
The “Minimum timer” setting is only available in single player and can be enabled by selecting “Accessibility” from Settings in the main menu and setting the QTE speed to the minimum value.
Another novelty of The Quarry’s new update is english dubbing with subtitles in another language, an option definitely appreciated by many gamers. To enable it you need to select “Enable English dialogs” under “Sound” in Settings from the main menu.
There’s also a fix for common bugs that aren’t better noted by the Supermassive Games team. In summary, the official notes of The Quarry Patch 1.05 shared on Steam:
- Added “minimum timer” option to increase QTE difficulty
- Added “Enable English dialogs” option to play in original language with foreign subtitles
- General bug fixes and improvements
Quarry, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | Available for S, Xbox One, and PC. A free trial version compatible with the Wolf Pack mod was released last month.
