There Kickstarter campaign The game will launch shortly to ensure the team has the necessary funds for production, giving fans bonuses and rewards to support the studio while their country is still at war.

Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, formerly known as Project Palianytsia, is a dark tale of inspiration. Works at HP Lovecraft starring a young Sherlock Holmes grappling with his first big case with his new sidekick, John Watson.
What seems like a simple missing persons case quickly turns into a web of conspiracies by a vile cult that worships the mysterious god. cthulhu and trying to fulfill an ancient prophecy. The game will take the investigative duo to 4 locations – Victorian London, a Swiss psychiatric ward, New Orleans bayous and the Scottish Highlands – as they try to separate reality from the supernatural and put an end to this cult’s crazy and dark plans. . . .
The restructuring will boast a new graphics industry and assets made with them. unreal engine 4new and revamped animations, improvements for all cutscenes, game mechanics for additional research.
Later, parts of the story will be retouched, the stories of some cases will be changed, and new side quests will be added to merge the game’s young Sherlock with that of previous Frogwares games.
The voiceover will be re-recorded and the game localized for more countries, hopefully in Italy, there will be improvements to the UI and other additions that will improve the overall quality of the experience.
The developers announced in a message that they are working on a remake of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened as the war in Ukraine required a well-grounded project. For the same reason, Frogwares is forced to seek help from fans to obtain the necessary funds to finance the game.
“We’ve always wanted to do a remake of this game at some point, but the war has forced us to do that now. By working on a game where most of its content, scope and narrative is locked away after a few weeks, we indulge in a much more predictable and structured development cycle. predictability is exactly what we need right now, but the rest of our days are very uncertain.”says Denys Chebotarov, manufacturer of Frogwares.
“Under normal circumstances, we would finance our next game ourselves from the sales of our previous games. But this war always comes up with new challenges that require us to stop, reorganize and adapt. It takes time and effort. And in some cases, normally a game’s money to finance its production,” says Sergey Oganesyan, Frogwares’ communications manager.
“Through crowdfunding, we can guarantee all these needs and also secure the overall financing of the game, we know very well that we now have the guaranteed means to finish the game and manage any obstacles we may encounter as this war unfolds, without derailing all the development and financing of security. It will allow us to put the needs and safety of our team first as we are more adaptable.”
