Area Wake Up 2 Will have “monstrous” storyat least according to what Remedy Entertainment’s Sam Lake wrote on Twitter about the work done so far on the script.
“Shooting continues with our star cast. We’ve written many pages with Clay Murphy, I think the most (this story is monstrous). We’ll tell you more after a short summer break from this dark place called the writers’ room.“
In short, from what has been written, we can expect a very long and curated story, played by a cast of key players.
Alan Wake 2 was announced twelve years after Alan Wake. The remastered edition of the first episode has yet to go head-to-head according to the latest published information.
The launch of Alan Wake 2 is scheduled for 2023 at an as yet undetermined date. After the announcement, the game was no longer shown, except for some artwork, which is a sign that the game is in progress.
