There society finally celebrated funeral from Red Dead Online, as promised in the last days. Widely announced and planned, it was a particularly sad moment that ideally ended the life of Red Dead Redemption 2’s online mode (servers are down, but active players seem scarce).

July 13, 2022 wasn’t chosen by chance as the funeral day: it’s the anniversary of the last major update released for the game, which Rockstar Games seems to have closed with new content.

Recently, Rockstar Games made the event even more up-to-date by announcing that Red Dead Online’s resources were diverted to GTA 6. GTA Online by popularity, so it’s normal for developers and publishers to target a decidedly more profitable game like the new GTA.
