French publisher Microids announced Together introduction video Asterix and Obelix XXXL: Aries from Hiberniais a fighting game with one look from the other that marks the return of the most beloved roosters ever in the world of video games. The series now has many more episodes after the last Asterix & Obelix: Slap The All! and the XXL trilogy (not to mention all the games released in the past).

This fall, Asterix and Obelix will embark on a new journey through Hibernia, in ancient Ireland, for a series of unforgettable fights where even dirty tricks such as beating enemies with barrels (full) are allowed! For the first time, the game can be played alone and in co-op with up to 4 players. Even the Romans who say they are braver will have to hold on to the helmet!
50 BC Gaul was completely occupied by the Romans. Everything? No, because a small village of irreducible Gauls is now and always resisting the invader. Hibernia’s request for help comes precisely to that village’s most famous warriors: Chief Whiskitonix’s daughter, Keratina, summons Asterix and Obelix to defeat the Roman invasion and reclaim her father’s precious golden ram. A mission to live without an arrest ban…in fact, players will have to punch their way through and use all the objects in their hands at the same time! Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia has been announced for PC, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Developed by Osome Studios, the game will be released in the fall of 2022 on an as yet undetermined date.
