Dying Light 2 expands upon arrival. patch 1.4 and includes the arrival of a new one Free episode “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner”as well as photo mode and various other improvements applied to the base game.
Following the announcements regarding post-launch support, Techland has decided to expand the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Along with Patch 1.4 will come the first free Episode that introduces the long-awaited update. photo mode and new in-game content, events and systems.
The First Episode is also just the beginning of the team’s 5-year support plan, with further development, other changes and improvements to Villedor in the future.
The new episode, titled In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner, introduces a new completely free story piece: “Your goal is, Harper, a Nightrunner For a long time, to fight against the Special Infected that endangered the City dwellers. In return, you will gain access to powerful equipment that has never been seen before.”
Also, these new content Dying Light 2: Stay Human is expected to arrive in update 1.4:
- Agent Episode – Meet Harper, a former Nightrunner who will be your hook in this new adventure. Go find him at The Fish Eye Inn and help him defeat Special Infected.
- New Rank System and Unlockable Content – discover a system that will strengthen your bond with the agent as you complete your missions. You can also rank up to unlock access to higher quality weapons, outfits and consumables with enough reputation points.
- Daily and Weekly Rewards – Face the Infected head-to-head in a series of daily and weekly nightly events that will earn you reputation points when completed
- 2 New Currencies – To purchase these new items, you will first need to collect mutagen samples from the corpses of Special Infected and obtain special Harper Tokens for each new rank.
- New Enemies – introduce you to the relentless and ferocious Mutated Infected, Volatile Tyrant and Hive of Birds
- Mission Episode – Purchase a special Mission Episode Pass in the Agent Episode and challenge yourself in extremely challenging and grueling timed missions that will test your stealth, parkour, and combat skills to their limits.
- New Modes: Photo Mode – our awesome community asked for it, so we couldn’t say no. Photo Mode is here! Take some photos to commemorate your adventures in The City!
