Gotham Knights will no longer contain dubbing none subtitles inside Russian: Localization of the game was planned, but events related to the war in Ukraine convinced Warner Bros. to move in that direction.
A few hours after criticism of Batgirl and her disability, the developers of Gotham Knights found themselves faced with another difficult decision, apparently already functional: the information about the translation into Russian was removed and the official site was shut down. .
According to an inside source, the situations would be somehow connected: Precisely because of the controversy about Batgirl, the publisher would be afraid of further disturbing the community and industry press, thus “sanctioning” Russia.
Coming back to the game itself, we released a gameplay analysis of Gotham Knights with Nightwing and Red Hood a few days ago, promising pretty good for now: we’ll see how things go on October 25th.
