We also have Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which was introduced at E3 2015 and was quickly criticized for abandoning the classic ATB turn-based system in favor of ATB hybrid action combat. Even the initial design of the characters was not particularly liked (and was actually changed later). Let’s not forget that the very idea of splitting it into several parts gave rise to scandal. But over the years, it has become one of the fan-favorite games, while delivering interesting news with an incredible technical sector, a satisfying combat system, and a narrative that can pay homage to the original.
And now? now we look forward to it Final Fantasy 16 (yes, there’s 7 Remake Part 2 too, but it’s too early to think about it). As we see it today, development is in the final stages, which means a new rollout may be ahead. Most importantly, it is now possible to start hoping that 2023 is the exit period.
However, putting hopes aside, there is an assessment to be made. We’ve seen very little of this new chapter and really know it’s minimal to frame it as an action RPG. However, we can note one thing. Final Fantasy 16 nothing seems to be a problem.
Unlike all the projects mentioned, Final Fantasy 16 without any drama or serious criticism from the public, it seems to be a project in regular development. Final Fantasy 16 gives us confidence, not just because it looks interesting (the plot, world, mythology, and gameplay hints are few but still intriguing), not because it looks first and foremost. a well managed business by the makers and developers. We really hope we are not mistaken.
