During a live broadcast at Nico Nico Chokaigi in Japan, the studio’s new head Ryu Ga Gotoku – Masayoshi Yokoyama – took a small development update the next game of the Yakuza, commonly known by its provisional name Yakuza 8.
Yokoyama-san states that the development is progressing steadily and team writing Currently working on the climax of the story, some players have already started recording.
While he can’t yet say when the game will be released, he also talked about it. more information they will probably come this year. He also confirmed that, as he said a while ago, the studio is working on multiple games, but not all projects have actually been announced.
In an earlier interview, he revealed that the “Yakuza 8” title is temporary and has yet to confirm its official title. We already know that the main hero will still be Ichiban Kasugadebuted in the west in Yakuza 7 titled “Yakuza: Like a Dragon”.
