FromSoftware released 1.04.2 patch from Hand Ringthis fixes some remaining mistakes your game. There are currently no English release notes, only Japanese. But the patch’s size of only 20MB makes it clear that this is a bugfix update, certainly not one of the most important.
By looking at the Elden Ring page on SteamDB you can see that an EAC installer has been added to the game folder as well as several files have been changed. Starting to heal herself with each blow, Malenia was getting harder and harder. Also fixed some bugs that mysteriously killed bosses and others related to the game’s texts. In short, install it as it certainly improves the gaming experience, even if it certainly doesn’t revolutionize Elden Ring.
